What is a Chrysalis?

Before it becomes a butterfly, a caterpillar goes through a growth stage during which it is called a "chrysalis." Chrysalis means golden home and, like all cocoons, it implies a delicately protected place for growth and development. On the surface it may not look like much is happening, but this delicate process transforms the caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly. This metamorphosis symbolizes our ability transform ourselves throughout entire life and heal on every level and reaching our Highest Potential.

"Chrysalis" is the name chosen for my practice, because it symbolizes the growth & healing opportunity that life's challenge present us with. Whether the challenges is a tendinitis, a back strain, a spinal cord injury or a devasting car accident, we face challenges great and small. These challenges can be as simple as changing how we complete a task and as complex as learning to walk again. This growth is an essential stage of our journey, just as the Chrysalis is for the butterfly.
